I built Ahem around two ideas: people should have a say in what they learn, and the language should be connected to a situation where they can use it.
What interests one person might mean very little to someone else. I wanted to make room for that difference. A conversation from your day, a place you want to go, or something you wish you could explain can become the starting point.
I wanted to make it easier to practice through conversations and situations you care about, with room to choose what to say and try again.
